On my Brain Tumour diagnosis i was told i would need two surgeons and one of them would be Mr David Johnson. At my first meeting with Mr Johnson and subsequent ones both in JR hospital and his private clinic in Swindon he always made me feel he knew how i felt, explained things in simple terms and just enough detail not to scare you!!! He never made me feel silly worrying about the little things and went out of his way to make sure those little things didn't turn into big things - which i believe helped my confidence and recovery post op. I'm not sure what it is he said or did but i just had a feeling " i could trust this guy with my life". I tell people I had "The A team" and i cannot praise Mr Johnson and the team involved in my care enough...

Mr Johnson was our sons surgeon who had surgery for Saggital synostosis when he was just 9 months old. Right from the start Mr Johnson explained everything in terms we could understand, he talked us right through the procedure and was great at answering all of our questions regardless of how silly we thought they were. He’s a very caring, honest and professional man, we put all our trust into him and he exceeded all of our expectations. Mr Johnson is a true hero in our family and I know he is in many others too. We cannot not thank him enough for the care he has given and continues to give our son and the support he gave us as parents along the way. I would highly recommend Mr Johnson to anyone.

David put me and my partner at ease from the very first meeting. He listened to my issues and needs, then explained everything in a manner that was simple to understand. Every consultation was a pleasant experience. His communication (via his secretary) was outstanding. On the day of my procedure, he kept me well informed and talked me through everything. My after care has been just as good. I had a call one evening to discuss my path results- and even then he took the time t explain fully what that meant and made sure I understood my options going forward.
I would not hesitate to recommend him.

From the very first moment I met David Johnson in my consultation he made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. He was so friendly and as soon as I met him I knew that he was the surgeon I wanted to perform my surgery. He explained everything in great detail.
I had my Rhinoplasty operation 3 months ago now and I am so happy with the results.

Mr Johnson has cared for my daughter since birth, he was done numerous surgeries for her.
His clinical expertise is second to none, and there is no one else I would want to carry out her procedures.
Not only is he a fantastic surgeon, but he is hugely caring too. It's not easy handing you child over for such big operations, he listens to our concerns and is happy to talk through any questions we have in detail.
